Sis made me smile lots today :) She came home from school telling us that she dropped her phone in the toilet today during PE while she was changing. I told her that she is going to have to keep her phone in her locker from now on instead of her pocket but she says that she is still scared that there are mice in her locker :) I assured her that the secretary had it cleaned out and she was fine and she needs to use her locker again, not sure how long it will take her to listen to me though!! She was a little upset that she didn't get to see the Governor, Jay Nixon today. He visited her school and she said that he came in a helicopter and had a limo and hundreds of security was there and the school went on lock down. I think she enjoyed all the excitement but said that she missed him when he was going through the halls.
Damein called me when he left school early to head to physical therapy and said thanks alot for scheduling therapy on a day that the governor was going to be there. I told him, I didn't realize he was going to be there until last night but he could have texted me and I would have rescheduled his therapy. Only the Senior A+ students got to see the governor. Therapy is going good for Damein and he works out on his own plus attends baseball practice now for the next 3 weeks and then will check back in with therapy for a couple of sessions to see how things are going. His shoulder is getting strong and he seems to be doing well.
The kids have been doing really well over the past few days and I am so proud of them! They are getting ready for their Valentine's Banquet that the youth group puts on every year and we can't wait to attend the big event!
Hope everyone's week is going well! I don't have a lot that has been going on so that is all I have for today but will write again soon :)
